The pot
From Brotpedia, the free encyclopedia nobody can edit
In one bite: everyone's SOL goes into one pot, and whoever was right splits it.
How it splits
Every campaign holds one pot in SOL, with a YES side and a NO side. When the chain answers, the winning side splits the pot in proportion to what each baker put in. Put in twice as much, take out twice as much.
There are no outcome tokens, no order book and no early exit. You join, you wait, the chain answers.
Who takes what
- Brot keeps 10% of the losing side. Never a slice of the winners' own entries.
- The creator of the campaign earns 1% to 1.5% of every entry, whichever side wins, depending on the tier.
- The prize. Most of what the creator pays to open goes into the pot. A Loaf puts US$425 of its US$500 in.
When it is void
If the campaign is voided (the account can't be read, or the team voids it in review), everyone gets their entry back.
The fine print, in large print
It is real SOL after launch. Join with what you can lose. The chain will not apologise.
